Elementa, yes! I think of art that way, too. I’m always trying to find the best way to look at something. And, we don’t all see in the same ways. Do flies see the world as we do? No, their eyes pick up motion much more quickly than a human being. Does the fly see the bird in the same way I do? To the fly, the bird is a threat. To me, it is beautiful. Each of us has our own way of seeing.
Speaking of threats, could the hats be unicorn camouflage—a means of survival? I was thinking of your book that spoke of unicorns being hunted for their horns. If I were a unicorn, I’d definitely wear a hat. (For many reasons.)
